Furat al Jamil

I am  of Iraqi-German descent and was born in 1965 in Germany.  I spend my life between Germany and Iraq but worked for longer periods in North- and South America. 

I have a MA degree in International Journalism as well as a Diploma in Law but prefer my work in art and film.

In 2006,  I was awarded  the Federal Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for my humanitarian work.
